DEBBAS awarded Dubai Metro contract to install special ceilings

Debbas is providing the RTA’s metro system with the complete fit-out of special metallic ceilings for 13 stations along the Dubai Metro’s Red line.

Debbas Electric is delighted to be involved with such an exciting project; The Dubai Metro is currently the world’s largest transport infrastructure project under construction. It will be the longest driverless system aimed at relieving traffic jams by improving mobility in and around Dubai. The Metro will be fully integrated within the network operated by the Roads & Transport Authority of Dubai.

The Dubai Metro will have a total planned system of 318 km divided into a 4 line grid, and it will carry approximately 1.2 million people on average a day (estimated 355 million passengers a year). Interestingly, it will be fully air-conditioned and it will have a one of a kind “class” system designed to accommodate gender and comfort requirements.
